This hasn't been a good quilting year for me. I was sick in Feb. Then I spent the whole month of August with my Mom after her heart surgery, She's doing great. Then I got sick early Sept, thru to
middle of October. I have been trying to get back into quilting. A lot of reading and planning. I
did get one done, still need to bind it.

Hi Jeri! I love your green & black zigzag quilt and especially the quilting you've done. Please post another photo of the finished quilt. I am considering an Avante - do you still like yours? I have had a Juki on a Beeline frame and it is holding me back from the kind of quilting I want to accomplish.
ReplyDeleteHi Val, I love my Avante and their customer service is great. I don't have a dealer near me so I call them at the main office. The are always so great to work with. I know what you mean about the smaller machine holding you back. I went from an 8" throat to an 18" and love every inch of it. My only regret is that I got a 10' frame not a 12' frame, I have the room. Seems most of my quilts are king. The 2 extra feet would be nice. Let me know what you decide. I'll have to take a picture of the finished zigzag quilt and post it.
